> industrie-fachwissen.de is an independent German-language B2B trade portal ("Fachmagazin für Betriebsausstattung & Industriebedarf") publishing expert articles, product comparisons, regulatory guides, data journalism and trade fair coverage for professionals in operations, procurement, logistics, safety and facility management across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Editorial content is written in professional German for B2B decision-makers. The portal also operates free AI tools, a product directory, a job board and a newsletter. This file is in English; everything visitor-facing is in German.

## Markdown versions for agents

Articles under `/data/` are also available as clean Markdown. Take the HTML address and append `.md`:

Markdown files carry a YAML frontmatter block (title, description, canonical url, category, date, author, language) followed by the article body: headings, paragraphs, tables and links, with no navigation, advertising, sidebars or scripts. They are typically 80–95 % smaller than the rendered HTML page. Each HTML page announces its Markdown twin via `<link rel="alternate" type="text/markdown">` and an equivalent HTTP `Link:` header.

Markdown files are served with `X-Robots-Tag: noindex` so they do not compete with the HTML originals in search indexes. This does not restrict agents: the files are fully readable and are excluded only from search-engine crawling (via robots.txt rules that name Googlebot and bingbot explicitly). All AI crawlers and user agents fall under the default robots.txt rule and may fetch them.

Other categories currently serve HTML only. Markdown coverage is being extended category by category; the `<link rel="alternate">` tag is the reliable indicator of whether a given page has one.

## About the portal

Articles reference real German and EU regulations (DIN, EN, ISO norms, DGUV rules, TRGS, ArbStättV, BetrSichV, ASR), and include market prices, product specifications, cost calculations and compliance requirements. Sources are cited and linked. New articles are published regularly across all categories.

The site is independently operated and not affiliated with any manufacturer or supplier. Advertising is clearly separated from editorial content. The portal sets no cookies; analytics run server-side on an EU server without visitor identification.
